Build a Data Product - A Roundtable Discussion
The primary pain point I am addressing is the gap between having a technical skill set and being able to transform those skills into a viable data product. Many technologists excel in coding and technical configurations but struggle with:
- Identifying market needs and opportunities where data can add value.
- Understanding the various moving parts required to build a product that can be accessed by users on the Internet.
- Managing the full lifecycle of a data product from conception through to deployment and scaling.
The rountable session seeks to create a forum where the above items can be discussed from a variety of perspectives.
The impact I plan to drive for participants of this round table are the following;
- Practical Knowledge: Learn how to identify viable opportunities for data products in various industries.
- Technical Guidance: Insights on using familiar technologies to build and deploy data products effectively.
- Networking Opportunities: Engage with like-minded individuals who are also interested in building data products, which can lead to potential collaborations.
- Inspiration and Motivation: Stories and examples from real-world projects that demonstrate the potential and impact of well-executed data products.
This session will help bridge the gap between technical ability and entrepreneurial execution, empowering participants to not only build data products but also to understand the ecosystem in which these products must thrive.
