Submitted Jul 15, 2016

As the number of apps continues to rise on the play store, the battle intensifies to differentiate further. With the recent trend of rising number of bots and conversational interfaces, the attention is shifting heavily to include intelligence into the apps we use on a day-to-day basis. Microsoft released a suite of cognitive services APIs (https://www.microsoft.com/cognitive-services/en-us/apis) that can be included into any application seamlessly to include features like computer vision, natural language processing and general machine learning. This talk would be a deep dive into using those services to build android applications with cognitive abilities.
