The recognition of intelligence lies at the root of our humanity. How we treat other intelligent life, therefore, reflects upon ourselves. If we wish to continue progressing as a life-form, we must push the envelope of our morality beyond the species." - The Machinehood Manifesto, March 20, 2095
Increasingly intrusive social media, corporate/government surveillance, the gig economy, the rapid inroads that AI and robotics are making into our everyday life - in Machinehood, S B Divya takes all these, and amps them up to deliver a thrilling novel that updates Asimov’s three laws. The man versus machine conflict is age old, but Divya takes a fresh look at the same, and compels the reader to think about equality, humanity and machinehood in radically new ways.
Are we truly ready for the robot revolution?
