#MeToo and India

Submitted Oct 15, 2018

MeTooIndia has show us that we have failed and are continuing to fail when it comes to creating a safe environment for women in our workplaces. (As also our public spaces and homes, but that may be too vast a topic for a session at TGP.)
There is a law on sexual harassment in the workplace. How well is it being implemented? Why is due process failing?
Also, laws can deal with wrongdoing; they can stipulate things that should be done, pubish offenders, and so on. But to really fix things, we need to deal with root causes. How do we actively change our workplace culture?
