This will be a beginner to intermediate level talk on Async await/Futures. We will cover the following topics to various extents.

  • Async/Futures introduction
  • Using/awaiting futures/runtimes
  • Working with multiple futures
  • Cancellation
  • Async primitives (for e.g. select!)
  • Streams
  • Pin/Unpin/pin_project
  • Debugging

Estimated duration for this talk will be at least an hour or perhaps more depending on how other talks are scheduled and if time permits.
