 Since its inception\, Rootconf has been a community-led platform for pract
 itioners to discuss all things systems engineering and infrastructure. How
 ever\, as participants keep telling us\, some of the most memorable conver
 sations at our conferences\, outside the conference rooms and in the corri
 dors!\n\nAs someone put it (best compliment ever!)\, our conferences are "
 where one meets and gets to interact with past friends\, and to discover f
 uture friends and collaborators".\n\nSo we thought that a pre-event meetup
  **"Rootconf Open House\, a WEEK BEFORE the conference (On Friday\, Nov 15
 )!**\, would be a great way to connect and mingle (without the time pressu
 re of tiny breaks between technical talks).\n\nAnd we had such a great tim
 e!\n\n## So what happened?\nHere’s a glimpse of the action from the Root
 conf Open House that we organised in partnership with @Peak XV Partners! W
 e had a bunch of folks who love to geek out on all things systems engineer
 ing\, infra and security!\n\nWe had so much fun speaking to all 67+ system
 s engineers who dropped by to join us!\n\nWe had founders\, CTOs\, enginee
 rs\, engineering managers and security researchers attend the Rootconf Ope
 n House. We saw people from all domains - SaaS\, product\, security\, AI &
  consulting.\n\nWe also had folks from organizations such as Flipkart\, Ph
 onePe\, Setu\, Optiowl.cloud\, Cashfree\, Numberz.ai\, Grafana Labs\, Clar
 isights\, Thoughtworks\, among others.\n\n#### Guests at the Open House we
 re able to\n* Mingle with Rootconf editors\, speakers\, participants\, rep
