The idea is to share some of the learnings from the offline payments segment. Even though most people are touting electronic payments to be the “next” big thing, it’ll be interesting to talk about and discuss the need of an offline payment system that scales. Also, how is this system insured and how to make it better?

The offline payment segment gives companies a chance to know the customer, to leverage on top of the data and also implement one of the most intensive modes of transacting money. Why are people doing this? More importantly, how are they doing it ( managing risk, ensuring no defaults and still abiding by regulations )?
