Hope you have been well. Thought I’d send out this email before I ran into the kitchen to indulge with the bread dough ready to be baked. And guess what! I forgot to add salt to the dough. Do you have ideas on how I can add salt now, when the dough is ready??? Gah, alchemy gone wrong!

Updates and our growing Kilter community:

This Sunday, 30 August, Huda Masood will take a session on how to read labels on milk supplements. Since milk supplements are widely used for children, pregnant women and the elderly, it is important to know what these packaged “supplements” contain, and what are the DIY alternatives if you want healthy substitutes. Das, also known by his Twitter handle @kitchenchemprof, has planned a fun session where he promises to take us through phases of matter by .... melting chocolate. Ooommmppphhh! I am already on the edge of my seat for this one!

This one will be more edge of the seat, as Amber brings her controversial(?) ideas of how human bodies can survive on meat, and that plant-based diets do no good to the body. Did I hear you sharpening your knives?
