Hi Chitra, how long do you estimate your workshop will be?

Hi Sandhya. The workshop can be tailored as per interest. If it’s a workout session, it would be between 30-45 minutes. If the preference is to have it more skewed towards dance, per Kristen’s suggestion, a minimum of an hour is ideal.

This might be fun to include if we do an evening social program, as an icebreaker or healthy group activity. If the audience is mostly male, how do you think they would react to participating?
That’s actually a great idea. For an icebreaker, I could structure it to be more dance and less exercise, so as not to tire people out.
As for male participants, I have had several in the past, and they’ve usually enjoyed it. Especially in a setting such as this, they find it a fun way to let loose and allow themselves to feel a little silly. That said, there are several men who shy away from it, since it is traditionally a woman’s dance.
