Introduce the concurrency and parallelism mechanisms in Julia base language and other packages


This talk will give an introduction to the various

  1. concurrent programming primitives: Tasks, async-wait, Channels.
  2. parallel programming primitives: adding physical processes, remote call, spawn, @parallel macro and pmap
  3. Parallelism provided in library land such as MPI.jl
