Micro-Frontends - a paradigm shift?

Submitted Mar 1, 2020

Microservices have been able to establish themselves as a successful and adapted pattern across industry. With the kind of value add Microservices provide, its time that there advent happens at front end too and this is what we refer to as Micro-Frontends!

This session aims to provide a brief insight into Micro-Frontends along with throwing light on whether this pattern can be as successful at front end as its counter part. Anyone who is involved in developing or managing software applications (be it architect, manager or developer) would find this session useful.

Outline

Below is high level outline of the session:

  • Common patterns followed by applications
  • What are Microservices
  • Micro-Frontends - Microservices in frontend
  • What is the main problem which Micro-Frontends solve
  • Are Micro-Frontends one-size-fits-all solution?
  • Brief on how to implement Micro-Frontends
