Angular Performance : Build & Runtime

Submitted Mar 2, 2020

Approaches to design & build a high performant angular app aiming for a great user experience.

Outline

For an app to be successful, it needs to serve a great user experience. Performance is one of key factor which affects the experience. Angular as a framework helps developers to build apps easily & provides good performance out of the box.

For a medium to large angular apps the default options may not produce the optimal output. The framework provides additional options & configurations which can help the developers to achieve optimizations. Some of the points that will be presented are as below,

  1. Why performance is a key to any application.
  2. Factors affecting the performance of a web application.
  3. The standard angular project & its output
  4. Basic methods to optimize the build
  5. Design changes to optimize the build
  6. Post build optimizations to the build
  7. Tools to analyze performance
  8. Whats next in Angular for performance

Requirements

Basic knowledge of Angular App development.
