After Bangalore and Pune, JSFoo is coming to Chennai! JSFoo is a one day conference about developing next-generation applications in JavaScript. Join us for a full day of intense sessions on a variety of topics ranging from core JavaScript concepts to building complete web-applications in JavaScript.

Object Oriented programming in Javascript

To expose the javascript object model, and to draw parallels with common object oriented programming languages.

Outline

Javascript supports object oriented programming in a way much different from class based languages. I will try to explore how and whether common object oriented techniques like encapsulation, inheritance and polymorphism can be implemented in Javascript. Will also discuss some hidden features and pitfalls.
