JSFoo is an event on building apps with JavaScript. This is an event on what it takes to build full size apps with JavaScript, whether in the frontend or backend.
This event is now over. It was on October 1, 2011, in Bangalore.
Sessions were 45 minutes each. The venue was Dharmaram Vidya Kshetram again, in the Christ University campus at Dairy Circle.

At the end of the session be aware of DataJS, a new Javascript based API to consume and work with OData service. OData is also known as Open Data Protocol which is released under Open Specification Promise by Microsoft
Outline
Open Data OR OData is the new data exchange protocol released under Open Specification Promise by Microsoft. What OData aims at is to break the data silos that exist now in todays data exchange paradigms.
DataJS is a first class Javascript based framework. This provides API which make it easy for consumers of OData to quickly consume the data from a OData service.
DataJS is now equipped with caching and storage API which make it more interesting in building a client side API
