Live Event Workflow

Ensure that all the items are there before starting the set-up

• 1x Streaming PC/Laptop

• 1x Video Camera (Speaker View)

• 1x Video Camera (Audience View)

• 3x Video Capture card

• 1x USB Audio Capture card

• XLR Patch short cables

• HDMI Patch short cables

• 50ft HDMI Cable x2

• 20ft HDMI Cable x1

• Power Extension Roll x1

• Power Extension Box x2

• HDMI Splitter x2

• USB C to HDMI Convertor x1

Start with the PC setup, make sure that the PC is powered and connect to the network (Console area)

Make sure the required Softwares and drivers are installed (Common drivers)

• OBS

• Nvidia GeForce Experience

• Chrome

• AV.io HD driver

• Elgato HD60S driver

• Behringer uphoria umc404hd driver

• Black magic ATEM Mini driver

Parallelly, start with laying out the cables and setting up the cameras

• 1x 20M HDMI cable from the console to the Podium for the Speaker’s laptop

• 1x 5M HDMI cable from the console to the Speaker camera

• Use HDMI splitters wherever it is required

• Setup the Tripod and mount the Camera

• Connect the HDMI cable from the Audience camera to the ATEM mini

• Connect the HDMI cable from the Speaker Camera to the ATEM mini

• Connect the HDMI cable from the Speaker’s Laptop to the AV.io HD capture card

• Connect the Capture card and ATEM to the PC

• Connect the Behringer Uphoria Audio card to the PC

• Connect the Audio output from the mixer to Behringer Capture card

Configure the PC

• Open OBS and create the scenes

• Add the sources and adjust them

• Configure the Video recording and Streaming settings to 1080p60fps

• Configure the Stream key and url

• Do a test stream and test the recording
