Each and every GNU/Linux distro can be customized and modded by its user in order to help him or her improve their workflow and enhance the overall productivity.
This session is intended for beginner to intermediate(or even advanced) level GNU/Linux users who seek a greater understanding of how the OS functions and how to make it work for them.
I will be speaking, primarily on the topic of the untapped potential of GNU/Linux OS’ and how to customize them, so as to further ease the user’s work process; as well as how easy it is to make the whole thing, cooler.
The outline of my talk is given in presentation - https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1Q_eQaS_UN8Ew1db9vRkmDxxruWvd_7L1I_EwAwnd638/edit?usp=sharing
Anything to note down resources and tips.
I am Albin Kottaram, a second year Computer Engineering student from Govt. Model Engineering College, Thrikkakara. I’ve always been fascinated with operating systems and I enjoy tinkering around with them a lot.
I have spoken about GNU/Linux before at a couple of developer meetups and at my college ( we have a very active FOSS group ).
