Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) development has happened because a large number of people accepted each others ideas and worked in the same direction. It allows better collaboration among different parties and individuals with the goal of developing the most efficient software for its users or use-cases.

But, on a second thought, despite this multitude of social media platforms in existence today, are we really connected one-to-one? Are people able to get over their inhibition to talk, build healthy relationships, share ideas and team up? Do people realise the power of ‘the word of mouth’?
