2. Why are you interested in volunteering for Fifthel?

As a recent Computer Science graduate, I’ve always enjoyed being part of communities where people learn from one another. The Fifth Elephant brings together professionals working in AI, data engineering, and technologyfields I’m genuinely interested in building my career in.

Volunteering gives me the opportunity to contribute to the community while learning from experienced practitioners, meeting like-minded people, and experiencing how a large-scale technology conference is organized. I believe some of the best learning happens outside classrooms and workplaces, and I’m excited to be part of making that experience possible for everyone attending.

3. Have you volunteered at community events before?

Yes, extensively.

Over the last four years, I’ve organized and volunteered for numerous technical, cultural, and community initiatives at Amity University.

Some of my experiences include:

• President, Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) On Campus — Led a team of 60+ members and organized 8+ technical events. Recipient of the Best IET Volunteer Award.
• Head Student Coordinator, Amity Utsav 2025.
• Organizing Head, CyberCup 4.0 (24-hour Hackathon).
• Emcee, LinkedIn Managing Head, and Core Team Member for Amity Youth Fest 2024.
• President, O3 Odyssey of Ohit (Dramatics Society).
• Head of Operations & Strategy, Brainstorm Club.
• Deputy Head of Content Writing, E-Cell.
• Student Leader at YSS Foundation NGO.
• Class Representative and Vice Sports Captain.

These experiences have helped me develop leadership, event management, public speaking, communication, stakeholder coordination, and problem-solving skills.

4. Which role would you like to volunteer for?

If there’s still an opportunity for a backup or standby Emcee, I’d love to be considered.

I’ve hosted multiple college events and festivals, including serving as the Emcee for Amity Youth Fest 2024. I enjoy impromptu speaking, engaging with audiences, keeping the energy high, and ensuring events run smoothly. I completely understand if the role has already been assigned, but I’d be happy to step in if needed.

Otherwise, Hall Manager is my preferred role because I enjoy coordinating people, managing schedules, solving problems on the go, and ensuring everything runs seamlessly.

6. Anything else you’d like to tell us about yourself or your interest in Fifthel?

I recently completed a six-month Technical Program Management internship at NVIDIA, where I worked closely with cross-functional engineering teams on technical initiatives. That experience strengthened my ability to communicate effectively, adapt quickly, take ownership, and stay calm in fast-paced environments.

I’m someone who naturally enjoys taking initiative and helping wherever needed. Whether it’s coordinating speakers, assisting attendees, creating content, solving last-minute issues, or simply supporting the team behind the scenes, I’m always happy to contribute.

I’m looking forward to learning from the Fifthel community, meeting people who share similar interests, and helping make the conference a memorable experience for everyone.
