Panel discussion: AI’s value to the business - Reality or Hype
AI has made significant growth in recent times with numerous advancements and developments in the field. The emergence of foundational models and the API ecosystem has lowered the entry barrier considerably, and has made AI technology adoption easier than before. According to one estimate, 77% of businesses are either using or exploring AI for their workflows or building a AI powered feature for their users.
However, a recent survey reveals that 8 out 10 organizations have admitted that their AI efforts delivered zero to negative returns. It is imperative to understand AI’s strengths and weaknesses in the context of different workflows, and how real business value can be unlocked. The practitioners on this panel have built AI systems that move the needle for business. They will discuss and deliberate the key points which leadership teams need to understand to make their AI investment count.
