Enter the era of the micro-ATM, the superhero of payment devices and a solution to the dearth of ATM networks in India, where all you need to transact is your fingerprint. This session will detail the journey of deploying mATMs across India and the leverage provided by deriving a data-driven strategy to do so

Outline

1) Introduction and potential of mATMs
-What is an mATM? -What are its functionalities and how can you use it? -What is the need of mATMs in India? -What is the potential market is can serve? 3) Data science techniques deployed to derive strategy
-What part can Data Science play in such a product? -Understanding the Indian landscape that does not have much or any digital footprint -Leveraging Indian census data and other public sources of information -The role of image recognition and NLP -Other algorithms that can employed 4) Advantage of visualization, reinforcement learning

    1. We only accept one speaker per session. Two speakers are mentioned here.
    2. It is unclear whether this proposal is about micro-ATMs or whether it is about analytics. The abstract reads as the former, in which case this proposal may not fit the conference’s agenda.
    3. Shared detailed slides and preview video about this proposal in order for us to make a better decision.

      1. There will be only one final speaker, if selected
      2. It is about how analytics was used to develop the strategy to implement a new product mATM in the market. Only the first 5 minutes would be about what the product is.
      3. Will share an outline through slides shortly.

Thanks for the prompt response. We’ll need the slides by next Tuesday, 23 May, to close the decision on your proposal.
