Is Hana fully or partially open source?

Vishwanath, we accept only one speaker per session.

Dear Venkatesh/Vishwanath - it would be great sponsored session if you compare/share the war stories of how people are using it(this is what I am assuming based on the synopsis). Kindly also add could distributed compute abilities if any(integration or comparison with hadoop/cassandra kind of infra. - #s/data and cool demos would add the zing and flair. HANA as a platform is as bad axx as it comes . Folks take a call/vote as many people with no exposure to hana-‘s-engine would be sweetly surprised by the abilities as technically it is an cool achievement.

can we expand a little bit on what exactly the talk will cover for an average developer..
is the focus on how to do predictive analytics on large data - if so any reference to mahout and how it fares with respect to SAP? is the focus on plain old predictive analytics but some cute novel ways of using it for solving some problems? if so what
are the problems and some rough pointers to the cute novel problems would be awesome..
