Share real world experience and learning from implementing large scale patient care systems at hospitals leveraging Big Data platform.


The session will share the vision, objectives, platform capabilities, architecture and technology choices made in delivering a large scale real-time Analytics platform for improving patient care at hospitals, leveraging open source Big Data technologies.


Exposure to Big Data technologies and opportunities in Healthcare domain is preferred.

Speaker bio

Mahesh Rangarajan is a Principal Architect and leads the Big Data and Advanced Analytics practice at CMC Limited. He is a practicing Enterprise Architect and is leading the team delivering the Big Data platform for Healthcare industry addressing Patient Care systems.

    Dear Mahesh - this would be really good session. Could you share the outline a bit more in detail? Do you plan to showcase some dataset and use some prediction technique or use supervised/unsupervised learning to emphasize how the bigdata platform + some analysis was used for “returns”(reduce patient hospitalization time, reduce the turnaround time for payments or identify issues with existing patients? ). Could you also mention/share the name of the oss technology you used and plan to showcase ?
