Abstract

Redis is one the fastest key-value pair, noSQL, in-memory database available on market, and many companies like disqus uses Redis for analytics. The workshop aims at enabling attendees quick prototyping, and designing fast and efficient analytic solutions with Redis and Python. Workshop will be unveiling the other side of Hadoop, with instant analytics of data.

Basics of Redis

Basics of Python

Develop a demo application with python and redis live along with the attendees, and show real-time analytics using django.

Requirements

A laptop, with python, redis-py and redis installed, would be awesome. Also, some exposure with python and redis would be great.
