 ## Speaker bio\n\n[Rohan Venkataramakrishnan](https://www.linkedin.com/in/
 rohanvenkat/) is Associate Editor at Scroll\, where he oversees news opera
 tions for the six-year-old award-winning digital publication. Rohan writes
  about politics and policy\, but spends most of his time now building Scro
 ll's newsroom\, including working with Scroll's reporting team as well as 
 helping set up the video team\, the news desk and the audience engagement 
 team.\n\nRohan previously worked at Mail Today\, a newspaper from the Indi
 a Today Group\, where he wrote and reported for the City and Political rep
 orting teams before being put in charge of the Comment pages at the age of
  24. Rohan holds a Bachelor's Degree in Print Journalism from the Universi
 ty of Southern California\, where he was awarded the Herb Klein Scholarshi
 p in Government and Political Reporting. He was born in Bombay\, grew up i
 n Doha and now pretends to know a thing or two about Delhi.\n
