Esolangs: what are they, and building one from scratch

There’s a subculture in the programming community that enjoys building niche, often useless, but fun, funky, interesting programming languages.
Some esolangs (a.k.a. esoteric languages) get popular. You might have heard of brainf**k. But that’s just the tip of the iceberg, there are a TON of very interesting, much weirder languages.
I’ll be hoping to give you a glimpse into esolangs, and we’ll also build a weird little language live on stage.
