Can data viz really be broken down into a framework or process? Yes it can! I’ll explain my USER framework for data visualisation - a structured way to get to the right visual for your audience, everytime. This is the same framework on which we’ve built our flagship product, ChartBoss.

We’ll also go through multiple chart audits and makeovers to help illustrate each concept.

Hi, Im Vikram Nayak, the Founder of ChartBoss. I’m on a mission to transform how data insights are communicated, so that they are understandable, usable and useful. At ChartBoss, we’re building easy-to-use AI tools for both experts and non-experts to make charts and dashboards that are super-effective.

For the last 5 years, I’ve consulted with multiple organizations to help them build data products that actually get used. These include Trendlyne - a stock market analytics platform with 1M+ users and Stylumia - an AI fashion consumer intelligence company. I’ve also conducted workshops on data visualisation and data product design at Delhivery, Stylumia and NSRCEL @ IIMB.
